Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SwiftIt (swiftit.au) collects, uses, and protects your personal information. If you have questions, contact us.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password), when creating events (event details, dates, locations), and when guests interact with events (RSVP responses, digital card messages). We also automatically collect usage data such as page views and session information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, to process digital card transactions, to send transactional emails (confirmations, password resets), to display event pages to invited guests, and to generate analytics for event hosts.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with trusted service providers (Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting) who are bound by confidentiality agreements. Guest information is shared with the event host. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Australia. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent some features from working.

6. Guest Data

When guests RSVP to events or send digital cards, their information (name, email, RSVP status) is visible to the event host. Guests may contact us to request deletion of their data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Event hosts may export their guest data at any time from the event dashboard.

8. Children's Privacy

SwiftIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Contact
